“And we came to the gates of hell / it was as if a giant beast had risen from the earth and scorched everything in its path" - I had last seen that as a first responder in NYC on Sept 11 th 2001. “ (and also in the Maui fires). When I was a little girl my mother taught me unconditional love for everyone - now I’m grown up I still have that love. There’s so much need in Los Angeles and we can start with just helping one person and it always grows into a lot more. Sometimes a hug lasts 30 seconds and others 5 minutes - no descrimination- no walls / and in those moments I have found the most pure form of love I have ever known.
